These valves are named ball valve because ball is the main heart or important component of this valve. This ball helps us to open or close the supply line passing through this valve.
As we know the definition of valve is to make available the flow from one way to another way. It is completely one way supply system and that too can be controllable. In the system of ball valve the supply system is either allowed or stopped with the ball inside the body of this valve and that is why this is known as ball valve.

Plug Valves
YASH” make Plug valve is used primarily for on--off service and some throttling services. It controls flow by means of a cylindrical or tapered plug with a hole in the center that lines up with the flow path of the valve to permit flow. A quarter turn in either direction blocks the flow path. The Plug & Body seating surfaces, which are grinded and matched, are not exposed to the line fluid. Valves are impregnated with P.T.F.E. which provides greater wear resistance and ensures low consistent operating torque and at the same time reducing the need of lubrication P.T.F.E. Also enhances resistance to seizure.

Butterfly Valve
Butterfly valves are the most efficient and reliable sealing, Maintenance Free, Tight Shutoff Isolation valve mechanism under high vacuum working conditions. Butterfly Valves are of small in terms of thickness which ensures easy and faster passage for air and gases and are ideally suited for "In-line" isolation purpose.
